So, I share your sadness about the day. He was in the Navy and had a military funeral too...with the flag, the folding, the 21-gun salute, etc. It's one of those moments that you don't forget.....as you can attest too. My Granpa died 12 years before I was born. But It must have been an honour that your Granma was given a full Military Burial No matter though, funerals are not pleasant for anyone.
